Cantina Produttori di Valdobbiadene is the reference social winery in the Prosecco area, based in the municipality of Valdobbiadene, in the province of Treviso, Veneto. It was founded in 1952 by 129 founding members with the aim of enhancing the local grape variety, the Glera grape, and its many nuances and versions.
Over the years, the winery has developed from a numerical, technological and qualitative point of view. The number of members who have decided to join this initiative has increased, so much so that, at present, there are more than 600 members! The hectares of cultivated vineyards have also increased, more than 1000 hectares, all cataloged according to their potential and, consequently, to the quality of the grapes and wines that can be produced. At the same time, the winery has invested in the improvement of agricultural practices and in the development of winemaking practices, adopting the latest generation technologiest. All these factors have guaranteed a notable growth in quality of the wines obtained.
The production of the winery is concentrated on wines, of different versions, obtained from the Glera vine, the vine of Prosecco wines. Among the range of Cantina Produttori di Valdobbiadene wines, Cartizze stands out. Cartizze is a hilly area of approximately 107-108 hectares, located between San Pietro di Barbozza, Saccol and Santo Stefano di Valdobbiadene, in the municipality of Valdobbiadene, characterized by a steep slope, excellent direct sun exposure, which favors the perfect ripening of the grapes and the concentration of sugars, well ventilated, thanks to the breezes coming from the surrounding mountains which counteract the formation of humidity. Furthermore, the temperature range between day and night allows the development of unique aromatic notes, while the mineral-rich soil guarantees an excellent nutritional supply to the grapes. For all these qualities, Cartizze is a truly prestigious and renowned cru.
The Cartizze produced by Cantina Produttori di Valdobbiadene is obtained from 100% Glera grapes, vinified with the Martinotti-Charmat method with second fermentation in an autoclave. It is a dry wine, delicately sweet, with a sugar content of approximately 25 g/l.

Valdobbiadene Superiore di Cartizze D.O.C.G. Cantina Produttori di Valdobbiadene has a bright straw yellow color. The perlage is very fine and persistent, a further indication of the quality of the product. On the nose it is delicate and elegant, with fruity hints of apple and pear and floral sensations of rose and white flowers. On the palate it is slightly sweet, pleasantly lively and mineral. It has a unique balance and elegance!
It is a sparkling wine that is perfect for the end-of-meal toast, for any important occasion and with desserts of equal sweetness. It is highly recommended for the post-Christmas meal!
