White Wines Sardinia
Vermentino di Sardegna and Vermentino di Gallura are the symbolic white wines of Sardinia. A DOC and a DOCG obtained from the Vermentino vine, imported from Liguria, which finds in this island very favorable climatic conditions for its cultivation. In the area of Oristano, on the other hand, an autochthonous and famous vine is grown, the Vernaccia, from whose grapes great white wines are produced, rich in perfumes.
