Produced mainly with Nebbiolo grapes cultivated on the slopes of Monte Rosa, west of Gattinara, of medium aging, 2 years minimum, it comes from a knowledgeable use of aging wood. Of ruby color, complex scents of mature fruit and spices, fresh and austere body. It's suited for a medium/long aging. Contains sulphites. Produced by Anzivino - Corso Valsesia, 162 - 13045, Gattinara (Vercelli) - Piemonte - Italy.

The producer

The winery Anzivino is positioned in the centre of Gattinara. It was an old distillery now completly restructured and equipped with the best and innovative eonological machineries in the market. Born in 1998, the company owns 12 hectares of vineyards situated in the best positions of Gattinara's hills. The different phases of production, from vineyard to glass, are constantly followed by professional wine-makers.

Perfect with structured first dishes, complex and important meat dishes, game and seasoned cheese.

How to serve it

The wine should be uncorked and allowed to breathe for at least one hour before serving. Best served at 16 -18°C.

How to keep

The bottles should be laid horizontally in a cool, dark, humid wine-cellar. It's suited for a medium/long aging, 8-9 years.
