Complex and strong red wine with fine scents reminiscent of violets, spices and vanilla, with a dry and harmonious taste. Body and substance do not take away anything from balance and harmony. It is obtained from Nebbiolo grapes coming from vineyards located in the best positions of Gattinara's hills. Refining of more than two years in Allier barriques contributes to make the character of this wine. It's suited for a long aging. Contains sulphites. Produced by Anzivino - Corso Valsesia, 162 - 13045, Gattinara (Vercelli) - Piemonte - Italy.

The producer

The winery Anzivino is positioned in the centre of Gattinara. It was an old distillery now completly restructured and equipped with the best and innovative eonological machineries in the market. Born in 1998, the company owns 12 hectares of vineyards situated in the best positions of Gattinara's hills. The different phases of production, from vineyard to glass, are constantly followed by professional wine-makers.

Perfect with elaborated and important meat dishes, game and seasoned cheese.

How to serve it

The wine should be uncorked and allowed to breathe for at least two hours before serving. Best served at 16 -18°C.

How to keep

The bottles should be laid horizontally in a cool, dark, humid wine-cellar. It's suited for a long aging, even 30 years.
