It has an intense ruby red colour and shows hints of cherry and red fruits that derive from the assemblage of wines obtained from one single vineyard respecting the percentages indicated in the DOC. The grapes are harvested separately by hand in crates. The fermentation is carried out in steel tubs at a temperature of 26° C, the maceration, which is carried out separately lasts for 8 to 15 days in relation to the vineyard. The malolactic fermentation occurs spontaneously. The thinning process lasts 6 months in stainless steel tubs. Contains sulphites. Produced by AZ.AGR. GIOVANNA TANTINI - Località I Mischi - via Unità d'Italia, 10 - Castelnuovo del Garda - Verona - Italy.
The producer
Giovanna Tantini manages a company of 11,5 hectares in the Garda Lake area. The cellar was realized in 2002 after having prepared for it throughout the various years. The company produces DOC and IGT wines, with grapes that derive from vineyards from the property yielding low quantities, 60 quintals per hectare, and that derive from hard work in the vineyard. Attilio Pagli and the agronomist Federico Curtaz collaborate on this project. The company takes great care in working the vineyards by adapting to the different situations that every year may bring. The wines reflect this hard and meticulous work.
