A rosé that is obtained through the maceration of grapes for 14 hours at a temperature of 8°C in order to obtain the onion skin tonality. The pressing is very light and the must is clarified when cold. The fermentation comes about at a temperature of 16-18°C for a length of 16 days. The assemblage of wines obtained from one single vineyard respects the percentages indicated in the DOC. The grapes are harvested separately by hand in crates. Contains sulphites. Produced by AZ.AGR. GIOVANNA TANTINI - Località I Mischi - via Unità d'Italia, 10 - Castelnuovo del Garda - Verona - Italy.

The producer

Giovanna Tantini manages a company of 11,5 hectares in the Garda Lake area. The cellar was realized in 2002 after having prepared for it throughout the various years. The company produces DOC and IGT wines, with grapes that derive from vineyards from the property yielding low quantities, 60 quintals per hectare, and that derive from hard work in the vineyard. Attilio Pagli and the agronomist Federico Curtaz collaborate on this project. The company takes great care in working the vineyards by adapting to the different situations that every year may bring. The wines reflect this hard and meticulous work.

Best with

A cool and vivacious wine that can be drunk with cold dishes and fish as well as a lovely "aperitivo".

How to serve it

Should be served at a temperature of 10-12°C in a medium sized glass.

How to keep

Place in a cool area at a constant temperature and way from direct sunlight in a horizontal position.

Great priceReview by Mathjas
Quality
A typical Italian rosé, very delicate, which gives its best when served fresh. A real pleasure to the palate! Excellent! It is sold at the cellar price! (Posted on 9/2/2024)
Rosè wine from Garda Lake Review by Christian
Quality
Fresh and pleasant. A good rosé wine with a marked minerality. I drink it with an aperitif or with any fish dish. (Posted on 12/6/2023)
